What is with the name ‘Ender G’? In this series ‘The Wrath of the New Gods’, Godzilla is the Ender of the world. I guess you’ve already picked up the Minecraft reference.

Second reason is, I am thinking of having a break from drawing Godzilla. This piece would be like my ‘Ender’ for Godzilla themed art. I have been looking at my portfolio, and there is just too many Godzilla artworks in it, I think I’d like to expand, explore and create other stuff too.

I am not sick of Godzilla. Actually, I have done about maybe 20 studies for the above design, and enjoyed thumb-nailing designs again and again and again... and then I realize that the Godzilla design is actually my favourite monster/creature design of all time. 

The above design is inspired from different Godzilla designs thru the years. Its 30% Millennium, 15% Legendary, 15% Shin, 10% Heisei, 10% GMK, and 20% my input. And all of these are extracted 100% from original 1954 – It’s such a classic monster design.

I will still carry on with pending Godzilla related projects, but after all that, it’s sayonara Godzilla…
